Kelly (Bridget Fonda) is a paleontologist. Jack (Bill Pullman) is from the Fish and Game Department. Hector (Oliver Platt) is a millionaire croc hunter. Hank (Brendan Gleeson) is the local Sheriff of Lake Placid where something has been attacking and killing people and wildlife.
Each one of them has their own reason for being there, but together they must defeat it's most ferocious resident: a 30-foot prehistoric crocodile
